Laproscopic Gastric Bypass
This procedure typically involves stapling the top of your stomach, ultimately sealing it off from the rest remaining lower part of the stomach region. In this way, stapling creates a small pouch. The small size of the pouch is beneficial enough as it can hold only a small amount of food while prompting you to eat less and lose weight over time.
The Cosmetique surgeon then connects a small hole in that stomach pouch with a small part of your intestine by-passing the rest of the stomach region so that your consumed food directly travels from the pouch into the newly connected opening. Then it goes into the small intestine. That, in turn, makes your body absorb fewer calories compared to normal.
